Refunds and Returns - Canada

Refunds and Returns - Canada

Last updated 3 October 2026.

Summary

  • Your rights under your province's consumer protection law apply and are not limited by this policy. They differ by province.
  • If your order does not arrive in time, is damaged, defective or not what we described, we will replace it or refund you.
  • 60-day guarantee: see the full text in the section below. It is in addition to your statutory rights, which have no 60-day cap.
  • Taxes, duty and brokerage paid at delivery go to the government, the province and the carrier, not to us (see Shipping Policy section 5).

60-day guarantee

If BUNEE doesn't work for you, contact us within 60 days of delivery and we'll refund the price of one opened unit. Unopened units can be returned for a refund within the same 60 days; return postage is at your cost unless the item is faulty. This guarantee is in addition to your rights under consumer law. This guarantee never limits or replaces your statutory rights under provincial consumer protection law and the Competition Act, which have no 60-day cap.

Late, missing, damaged or wrong goods

Write to support@tigerbrandsglobal.com with your order number (and a photo for damage). We will, at your choice, send a replacement or refund the price you paid including shipping, at no cost to you. If your parcel does not arrive by the end of the delivery window we will chase it and refund or re-send if it cannot be found.

Province-specific rights

Ontario - internet agreements (Consumer Protection Act, 2002, ss 37-40; the Consumer Protection Act, 2023 is not yet in force as far as we could confirm): before you order we must disclose our name, address, description of the goods, itemised price, delivery, cancellation and refund terms, and give you a copy of the agreement within 7 days after you place the order. You may cancel within 7 days after receiving that copy (up to a year if we never give it), and may cancel if we do not deliver within 30 days of the stated date (or of the order if no date was stated). Refund within 15 days of your notice.

Quebec - Consumer Protection Act (distance contracts, ss 54.1 ff.): for contracts made at a distance we must give the required information before you order and send you a copy of the contract within 15 days. You may cancel by written notice: (a) within 7 days after you receive the contract if the required information was missing or unclear, the contract does not meet the Act, or it was not sent in a form you can keep and print; (b) within 7 days after you receive the goods if the required pre-purchase information turns out to have been missing; (c) within 30 days after the order if we never sent you the contract; (d) before delivery if we have not delivered within 30 days of the date we gave you (or within 30 days of the order if no date was given). We must refund within 15 days of your notice, you return the goods within 15 days of sending the notice (or of receiving them, if later), and we pay reasonable return costs. The Act also gives a legal warranty that goods will be fit for normal use for a reasonable time (ss 37 ff.), which cannot be excluded. Consumer documents must be available in French (Charter of the French language).

Other provinces: British Columbia, Alberta (Internet Sales Contract Regulation), Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan and others have their own distance-sales cancellation and refund rules. British Columbia (Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act, Part 4 Division 2 and the Distance Sales Contract Regulation) and Alberta have similar rules: disclosure before the order, a copy of the contract, cancellation if the disclosure was not made, and a refund if goods are not delivered in the time stated or within 30 days.

Refund timing

We refund to your original payment method within 5-10 business days of agreeing the refund, and in any case no later than the period your provincial law requires (15 days after your cancellation notice in Ontario and Quebec). Duty, taxes and brokerage: these were not paid to us. If you refuse a parcel or return goods you may be able to claim back duty and tax from the CBSA.
